Plugin installation — step by step

- 2In your WordPress dashboard go to: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- 3Choose the downloaded ZIP file and click “Install Now”.
- 4Click “Activate Plugin”.
- 5Open “Prowde One-Click Transfer” in the menu or via the notification at the top of the page, paste the token and e-mail, and click “Transfer”.

Frequently asked questions about moving your site
How much does it cost to move my site to Prowde?
Migration is free — we move your site for $0. You only pay for the hosting you choose. The free One‑Click Transfer plugin packs your files and database and sends them to us.
How long does a WordPress transfer take?
Usually a few to several minutes. The plugin packs your files and database, we run a virus scan and set the site up on our server. Very large sites take longer — we always email you when it's ready.
Will my site work exactly the same after the move?
Yes. We transfer files and database 1:1, so content, design and plugins stay unchanged. You log in with your existing credentials.
Will my site be offline during the move?
No. Your current site keeps running the whole time. We set up a copy with us first, and you switch the domain (DNS) only once everything is ready — with no downtime.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. For WordPress you just install the free plugin, paste the token and click “Transfer”. Other site types we move manually — you don't configure anything.
Is the transfer secure?
Yes. Every uploaded file is virus-scanned before anything runs. Data is sent to us over a secure, encrypted channel.
What about my domain — do I have to move it?
You don't have to. You can move the domain to Prowde or leave it with your current registrar and just point the DNS to our server. We tell you exactly what to set.
Can I also move my domain to Prowde?
Yes. You can hand over your domain management to us — we then take care of DNS configuration, billing and all the domain-related details for you. You don't need to know any of it.
What kinds of sites do you move?
WordPress we move automatically — via the One‑Click plugin or the chat. Other technologies (Craft CMS, plain PHP, Next.js, shops, custom builds) we migrate manually, looked after by our team.
Can I move several sites into one account?
Yes. You move each site with its own transfer token and see them all in one panel. We support multiple sites and domains per account.
Will I get help after the move?
